Policy Overview
At Nova Car Lifts, we understand that purchasing automotive equipment is a significant investment. Our goal is to make the buying experience straightforward, transparent, and dependable from start to finish. If there is an issue with your order or you need to request a return or exchange, our team is here to help guide the process clearly and professionally.
We believe in fair policies, responsive support, and treating customers with respect.
Return & Exchange Eligibility
To be eligible for a return or exchange, products must be in new and unused condition with the original packaging, manuals, hardware, and all included accessories intact.
Returned items must show no signs of installation, use, damage, or modification. Products that are missing components or returned in a condition that cannot be resold may not qualify for a refund or exchange approval.
Return Window
Eligible returns and exchange requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery.
Requests received outside the return window may not qualify for return authorization.
Return Shipping Responsibility
For returns requested due to buyer preference, incorrect selection, or no longer needing the product, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Nova Car Lifts can provide prepaid return labels when available for eligible shipments. The cost of the return label will be deducted from the final refund amount.
For approved returns involving defective products, damaged shipments, or incorrect items sent by our team, Nova Car Lifts will cover all associated return shipping costs.
How to Start a Return or Exchange
All returns and exchanges require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) before products are sent back.
To begin the process, please contact our support team at support@novacarlifts.com with your order number, product details, and reason for the request. Photos may be requested for damaged, defective, or incorrect items to help speed up resolution.
Once approved, we will provide return instructions and any applicable shipping documentation.
Returns sent without prior authorization may experience delays or refusal by the receiving facility.
Damaged or Defective Items
We ask customers to inspect shipments promptly upon delivery.
For freight (LTL) deliveries, any shipping damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. For smaller parcel shipments delivered through carriers such as UPS or FedEx, damage claims must be submitted within 15 days of delivery.
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us immediately with photos of the packaging and product condition. Our team will work quickly to arrange replacement parts, exchanges, or full resolution depending on the situation.
Cancellations
Orders canceled before shipment are eligible for a full refund.
Once an order has shipped, cancellation requests are handled under the standard return process outlined in this policy.
Refund Processing Time
Refunds are processed within 7 business days after the returned item is received and inspected.
Approved refunds will be issued back to the original payment method, including the original shipping cost when applicable.
Please note that financial institutions and payment providers may require additional processing time before funds appear in your account.
Our Error vs. Customer-Initiated Returns
If Nova Car Lifts ships the wrong product, a defective item, or a product damaged in transit, we will take full responsibility for resolving the issue at no cost to the customer.
For customer-initiated returns unrelated to product defects or shipping errors, return shipping and exchange transportation costs are the responsibility of the customer.
We do not charge restocking fees on approved returns.
Exchanges Process
Customers requesting an exchange for a different product, model, or configuration are responsible for both return shipping and reshipment costs associated with the replacement order.
Exchange requests are subject to product availability at the time the returned item is received and inspected.
